The National Education Policy 2020 states that during the supplemental exams, students in Class 12 may raise their performance in one subject. The first or second week of July 2025 is when these tests are planned to take place.

The CBSE began using 50% competency-based questions in their exams in 2025. The CBSE published sample question papers to aid students in improving their test preparation. The datesheet was released three months before the start of the exams, and the CBSE provided training to the teachers.

“The results have improved as a result of all the efforts. The class 12 pass rate for this year is 88.39%, which is higher than the 87.98% pass rate from the previous year. According to CBSE, this demonstrates how well-prepared the students were for competency-based question papers.
