Big news for engineering and science aspirants! The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 will be conducted by IIT Guwahati, and the official website is now live: gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

Key Dates You Need to Know:
Registrations open: August 25, 2025
Apply without late fees till: September 25, 2025
Final deadline (with late fees): October 6, 2025
Exam dates: February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026
What’s New / What to Expect:
You can appear for up to two papers (from allowed combinations)
There will be 30 subjects in total
The exam is fully online and in English
It will include MCQs (one correct answer), MSQs (multiple correct answers), and NATs (numerical input using a virtual keyboard)
Only one application form is needed — even if you’re taking two papers.
