In collaboration with SBI, IGNOU has declared a placement drive on February 11, 2025, to fill vacancies for the positions of Business Development Manager and Unit Manager.
Starting from February 11, 2025, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), in partnership with SBI Life Insurance Co., will organize a campus placement drive at the convention centre on the IGNOU Campus in Maidan Garhi. The objective of this placement drive is to fill two permanent positions: Business Development Manager and Unit Manager.
Candidates can register for the campus placement starting at 9:30 am, with the registration period ending at 10:30 am. The candidates must assemble at the centre for the pre-placement talk on the same day at approximately 11 am.
Candidates wishing to take part in the placement drive must arrive in formal attire; those arriving after 11 am will not be permitted to participate. The press release states that the placement drive will conclude by late evening; therefore, to prevent any disorder, candidates should prepare accordingly.
IGNOU PLACEMENT: ELIGIBILITY
Candidates applying for the two permanent roles of unit manager and business development manager must be aged between 21 and 30 years. They will receive a fixed CTC of Rs 2.85 lakh per year. Applications are welcome from fresh graduates, ideally with some sales experience.
The successful candidates will need to relocate to Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) for the job postings. There will be two rounds in the selection process: a group discussion and a personal interview.

- Two copies of the most recent resume/CV
- ID card for IGNOU
- Two passport-sized photos
- Mark sheets and provisional certificates for SSC, HSC, and Graduation/Post-Graduation
- Letter of appointment and salary slips from the last three months
- PAN card and Aadhaar card
