XAT 2025 exceeds 1.42 lakh registrations, setting new milestones

This year’s record 142,235 registrations for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) demonstrate the growing interest in management education among prospective leaders across the country.

One of India’s most prestigious management education entrance tests, the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), has seen an unprecedented spike in registrations this year, with 142,235 applications submitted so far. This accomplishment demonstrates the rising popularity of management education among the country’s future leaders.

For many years, aspirants hoping to get admission to India’s best business schools have relied on XAT as a reliable entry point. Many of these graduates have gone on to hold significant positions in well-known companies around the world. The innovative and inclusive format of XAT is what makes it stand out. By giving all candidates the same test at the same time, XAT, which is administered concurrently throughout the nation, guarantees fair competition. “XAT has always stood for inclusivity and diversity, and this year’s record registrations reflect our commitment to these values,” remarked Professor Rahul Shukla, convener of XAT, in reference to this accomplishment. Candidates’ passionate responses support our conviction that management education has the capacity to change lives.

A systematic outreach drive backed by affiliated business schools that intended to debunk myths and present XAT as a test for the brightest candidates is also responsible for the rise in enrollment numbers.
