Mathematical Foundations for Machine Learning, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Generative AI for Text, Generative AI for Vision, and Responsible AI are among the six specialized modules covered in the curriculum.
A six-month certificate program in generative AI was launched by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, as part of its Continuing Education Program (CEP). The goal of this cutting-edge curriculum is to prepare artificial intelligence experts. IIT Delhi’s generative AI certificate program will provide advanced AI techniques, emphasizing Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, BERT, and T5. Students will investigate topics such as Vision-Language Models (VLMs), Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF), and responsible AI deployment.
The application fee is Rs 1,180, and the deadline to apply is February 11. On February 15, classes will start. For the six-month program, the course fee is Rs 1.69 lakh with taxes. Six specialized modules are covered in the curriculum: Natural Language Processing, Mathematical Foundations for Machine Learning, ML, Generative AI for Text, Generative AI for Vision, and Responsible AI.
The Certificate Program in Generative AI will give professionals skills that are ready for the future, allowing India to become a global hub for artificial intelligence, according to Professor Tanmoy Chakraborty, Rajiv Khemani Young Faculty Chair Professor in AI and Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Yardi School of Artificial Intelligence, IIT Delhi.
Modern technologies must be used while AI transforms the industrial landscape in order to increase productivity and bring about significant change. With its revolutionary potential, generative AI would completely reshape the nature of work in the future, he claimed.
