The Central Board of Secondary Education will hold a workshop aimed at enhancing student mental health and well-being. This event will target principals, counselors, and wellness teachers who can assist in developing practical strategies for effectively identifying and addressing mental health issues among students.
The goal of this workshop is to provide participants with practical strategies for recognizing mental health challenges in students and delivering suitable psychological support.
The event, aimed at principals, counselors, and wellness teachers from CBSE-affiliated schools in the Delhi/NCR area, will concentrate on ways educators can offer vital mental health support during stressful times in the academic calendar.
On February 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., a workshop will be held at Venkateshwara International School in Sector 10, Dwarka, New Delhi. It is recommended that participants arrive before 9:30 am in order to register and complete other pre-workshop activities.
The official announcement indicates that the workshop, called “Promoting Student Mental Health and Well-Being,” is an in-person event aimed at helping attendees cultivate essential skills for recognizing mental health issues in students and offering effective psychological support.

There would be sessions covering topics ranging from the current state of education to the significance of mental health, identifying early warning signs, and addressing crisis management and intervention. Therefore, this workshop will provide participants with practical tools to assist students during the difficult academic years.
Participation in the workshop will be limited to a certain number of slots, all of which will be allocated according to who arrives first. Upon successful registration, the organizing authority will send participants a confirmation email.
