With a record-breaking top package of Rs 54 lakh annually, the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) has wrapped up its placement season for the 2025 batch. Up to 78 companies took part, and 373 offers were made in all. Coca-Cola’s offered the highest internship stipend of Rs 5 lakh, which set a new standard for business internships, was a major highlight of this year’s IIM Mumbai placements. The hiring drive was fueled by other recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, and the major FMCG companies; Microsoft provided the best yearly package.
The institute’s dedication to bringing academia into line with industry demands was demonstrated by the impressive 15% increase in average stipends during the placement season, which started on November 25.The placement environment was dominated by key industries like consulting, IT, FMCG, and BFSI, with a notable increase in positions requiring a strong focus on technology and sustainability.
